( Our encouraging and fun KIDS Church is also offered at the 10:30 Church Service time in the classrooms behind the theatre. — Anger is a symptom of our
core fears being triggered
In Dr. Smalley’s marriage series (“I Promise”) about overcoming anger in relationships, he explained that anger is really a symptom and our real issue is that our “core fears” are being triggered. He further explained that the first step in overcoming anger in our relationships is to identify, communicate and seek to diffuse those core fears together with love. Dr. Smalley said that he has identified at least 28 possible core fears in humans.
